Abstract Improv
Advanced Beginner – You know how your machine works and how to operate it. You have made a few quilts or garments
Supplies: 2 solid or “reads solid” fabrics, ½ yard each. Sewing machine with its supplies, thread, rotary cutter, snips, etc.
Bring your own or use ours: cutting mat, iron, pressing mat
This class is designed to just have fun exploring various shapes with random abandon. Straight seams are optional. Improv and especially abstract improv allows us to shift our thought process just a bit – or a lot, and can provide just the break we need from our regular projects.
