One-day class with option for a second class: arrive 9 - 9:15a for a 9:30a start.

January 22^nd (Alternate weather date of January 29^th), optional 2^nd class Jan. 29^th or Feb. 5^th if 1^st class is Jan. 2^nd

Beginner Friendly! Learn your machine with this project.

We are only doing ONE FISH and flies in the class.

Supplies

·      Pattern $40 (20% discount) This is a digital pattern that will be loaded on your USB memory stick at class. 

·      Empty USB – Ideally 2-4GB. Maximum size of 10GB.

·      Working machine with embroidery unit, cord, foot control, and all its attachments.

·      Machine manual.

·      Biggest hoop you have! Minimum hoop size 6”x10” (160mm x 260”mm)

·      Fabric Kit. 

·      Seam ripper (yep, we never leave home without one!)

·      Notepad or notebook

·      Adhesive spray I.e. 505

·      No show mesh stabilizer or poly mesh (you can buy from Lori the day of the class)

·      Six or more fat eighths of fabric for fish, plus a piece of fabric to practice flies. See notes.

·      Coordinated embroidery thread (Lori will have a small selection based on optional fabric kit)

·       12 ½” square ruler

·      Applique scissors

DUE BEFORE 1^ST CLASS

·      Contact Jennifer at Sew Addicting to select your fabric. Or bring your own fabric. Coordinated batiks work well for this project.

Note:

·      Register for class only at Sew Addicting (on website or in person).

·      Purchase pattern at either Platte Valley Vac & Sew or Sew Addicting.

·      Purchase fabric kit at Sew Addicting. Select your own fabric or buy a kit.

·      Purchased pattern and fabric kit will be provided in class.

·      Most find it helpful to have a personal cutting station and ironing station next to their sewing machine. There are communal stations in the classroom.
