Skill Details: | Class is appropriate for confident beginners. Participants must be familiar with, and able to sew accurate seams, on the machine they bring to class. There will be curved piecing and curved rotary cutting. |

Requirements: | Paper Piecing method – pattern provided Two-day class: arrive 9 - 9:15a for a 9:30a start. Finish at 1:45p March 22 and 29th Supplies Fabric : Colorful fabric – Ideal for use of scraps, fat quarters, layer cakes ½-yard Coordinating border fabric, if you want a border Iron & mat (or use the class iron and ironing station) Rotary cutter and mat (class has a large communal mat) Sewing machine that you are familiar with and it’s supplies (¼” foot, new needles, etc.) Open toe foot for your machine Coordinating thread General sewing supplies (i.e. seam ripper, scissors, stiletto) Add a ¼” ruler (6” or 12”) Stiff thin piece of cardboard or template plastic to create sharp creases (about 2-3” x 9-12”) Optional: Folding pen (Felt tip “pen” which holds starch or water) Note: Most find it helpful to have a personal cutting station and ironing station next to their sewing machine. |
